Lace Jacket

I have bulging file folders full of pages I have ripped from magazines over the years.  These inspiration photos caught my eye for different reasons...the outfit, location, photography, etc.  Here are photos of two totally different ways to style a lace jacket and a photo of a similar Nanette Lepore jacket I found on a thrifting expedition.  I can't wait to use it in a shoot.

1940's Style Inspiration

While working on a recent 1940's inspired photo shoot, I ran acroos this photo of film actress Hedy Lamarr and it made me think of my own mom and her beautiful sense of style.  So I decided to post a few old family photos for you to enjoy.  Check out the great clothes!

Stunning and Affordable Couture Wedding Dress with Sleeves

The lack of bridal gown options has been one of my pet peeves.  If you want more coverage, you add a bolero to a strapless dress or you go with the cap sleeve version which, to me, all look the same.  Come on designers...you can do better than that!  While surfing the net, I happened upon this stunning couture wedding dress with sleeves at an unbelievable price!  It's less than $200 at www.eastbridal.com.  Neckline too low?  It's couture, they can probably fix that!  If not...add a pretty cami. 

Music Promo Photos

One exciting part of my job as a fashion stylist is getting to work with some wonderful musicians on promo photos.  Last year I did a shoot with the lovely and talented Columbian music artist, Marcela Pinilla.  Marcela is a performer, singer, and songwriter who's specialty is modern Latin Jazz Fusion.  You can check out her music at:
