No matter what your skin tone, light or dark, olive or rosy, coral is a flattering color to wear. Check out these lovely coral colored vintage dresses I found on etsy.com. Pale or bright, frilly or structured...there is something for everyone.
Here are a few more photos from the traveling carnival photo shoot. The female carnies were super nice about us shooting there and all the guy carnies just stopped and stared! People kept pulling up in their cars to ask the model questions about the carnival. I guess they thought she was a side show! It was a lot of fun.
I've always been a fan of 1960's fashion, so I was happy to see the popularity of it rise with the TV series Mad Men. Here are a few of my favorite 60's items from my online vintage boutique, Hip Fashion Stylist Vintage. Check it out and rock your own Mad Men style. http://www.etsy.com/shop/hipfashionstylist
This is part 3 of the "Not So Classic Black" themed photo shoot I styled. This gorgeous dress is actually three pieces: a blouse, underskirt, and overskirt that attaches at the waist with a bow. OK, here's Part 2 of the "Not So Classic Black" photo shoot I styled recently. This is my favorite of the three outfits we shot. The location was really fun...a traveling carnival. Recently I styled a photo shoot in which the theme was "Not So Classic Black." Here are a few sample photos (Part 1 of 3). Photo Credits: Photographer - Lindsey Lissau, Makeup and Hair - Leslie Milne, Stylist - Lisa Byrd Thomas, Model - Serina B. from ETA. Thanks to the crew for such a wonderful job!!!
For a totally different look, we changed locations, popped on a leather jacket, and hiked up the dress. That's the fun of fashion photography!
Stay tuned next week for more photos from this shoot.
Lately I've been invited to a lot of weddings and the brides have all been gorgeous. For years the strapless gown has reigned. I would like to see bridal gown designers offer a larger selection of gowns with sleeves for those who would prefer them. Here are a few I found at www.allurebridals.com.
