About Me




Lisa Byrd Thomas is the owner of Hip Fashion Stylist Vintage and is a freelance wardrobe stylist based in Memphis, Tennessee.  As owner of Hip Fashion Stylist Vintage, she has provided wardrobe items for movies and TV series including Killing Kennedy (National Geographic), Vegas (CBS), Blood & Oil and Astornaut Wives Club (ABC), The Get Down (Netflx) and Granite Flats (BYU) as well as a variety of theatrical productions nationwide.  Her specialty is mid 20th Century fashion. 

In her twelve years as a stylist, she has worked in various mediums of the entertainment industry including music, film, television, editorial, and advertising.  Her print work includes the following:  Money Magazine, Southern Living Magazine, People Magazine, Reader's Digest, Diane Magazine for Curves International, and more.  She has been an on set stylist for live concerts with the following music artists: Ronnie Milsap, Collin Raye, Tom Wopat, Sutton Foster, Kallen Esperian, to name a few. And she was also the costume designer for the faith based film, The Grace Card featuring Louis Gossett, Jr.

Lisa has also produced fashion shows for stage and television.  Lisa has given seminars on image related topics at national beauty industry conferences, to major corporations and associations, and has taught continuing education courses.  She has also been a staff instructor and board member of Fashion Academy.  
Lisa spends her spare time cruising flea markets and estate sales for fabulous vintage finds.
