Maxi Dress - 60's and 70's Style
A popluar style that took front stage in the late 60's and 70's was the maxi dress. I recently posted about the Gunne Sax "prairie look" that was so widespread. But the maxi came in a variety of styles and fabrics. There was something for everyone...long sleeve, halter, sleeveless, solid color, bold print, drapey polyester, homespun cotton, etc. Below are some more examples of vintage maxi's.
