60's Fashion on Vegas, new CBS TV Series



60's fashion is alive and well on the new CBS tv series "Vegas."  The costume designer for the series, Kathleen Detoro, does a magnificent job with the wardrobe.  I am excited to say that she has purchased a variety of 60's items from my online vintage clothing boutique, Hip Fashion Stylist Vintage.  Below are photos of one of my purses used in the episode "From This Day Forward" and some screencaps. School Girl Fashion (Part 2) - Mod 60's Hat

Here's Part 2 of the "School Girl" style fashion shoot.  I especially like the mod 60's hat I used with one of the outfits.  The hat was my inspiration for the look of the entire shoot.

Maxi Dress - 60's and 70's Style

1960's Fashion Photographer - Melvin Sokolsky

Melvin Sokolsky, American photographer, is best known for his 1960's editoral fashion photos.  His most memorable was a series entitled "Bubbles" which appeared in Harper's Bazaar in 1963 and depicts fashion models floating in giant clear plastic bubbles over Paris.
