1960's Fashion Still Popular

60's Fashion on Vegas, new CBS TV Series



60's fashion is alive and well on the new CBS tv series "Vegas."  The costume designer for the series, Kathleen Detoro, does a magnificent job with the wardrobe.  I am excited to say that she has purchased a variety of 60's items from my online vintage clothing boutique, Hip Fashion Stylist Vintage.  Below are photos of one of my purses used in the episode "From This Day Forward" and some screencaps. 1950's and 1960's Fashion Photography - F. C. Gundlach

I'm quite a fan of 1950's and 60's fashion photography and I recently discovered  F.C. Gundlach (1926-).  He is considered one of the most significant fashion photographers of the young Federal Republic of Germany.

50's and 60's Fashion Photographer - Henry Clarke

I really love these 50's fashion photos from the renowned photographer of haute couture, Henry Clarke (1918-1996).  In the 1950's and 1960's he worked for American, French and British Vogue Magazine.

Late 1950's and Early 1960's Fashion Inspiration Photos

Lately, I've been watching a lot of old TV shows.  One of my favorites is The Dick Van Dyke Show.  It first aired in 1961.  I love Mary Tyler Moore's clothes!  So chic!!  It has renewed my interest in late 1950's and early 1960's fashion...great feminine shirtwaist, sheath and two-piece dresses, fitted sweaters with full skirts, and chunky sweaters with cigarette-style pants and flats.
