I love vintage fashion, so I am always excited when I get to work on a project that is vintage inspired.  The photographer came to me with this awesome 50s hat and the rest of the outfit proceeded from there.

Traveling Carnival Photo Shoot - More Photos

Here are a few more photos from the traveling carnival photo shoot.  The female carnies were super nice about us shooting there and all the guy carnies just stopped and stared!  People kept pulling up in their cars to ask the model questions about the carnival.  I guess they thought she was a side show!  It was a lot of fun.

 

1950's and 1960's Fashion Photography - F. C. Gundlach

I'm quite a fan of 1950's and 60's fashion photography and I recently discovered  F.C. Gundlach (1926-).  He is considered one of the most significant fashion photographers of the young Federal Republic of Germany.

1960's Fashion Photographer - Melvin Sokolsky

Melvin Sokolsky, American photographer, is best known for his 1960's editoral fashion photos.  His most memorable was a series entitled "Bubbles" which appeared in Harper's Bazaar in 1963 and depicts fashion models floating in giant clear plastic bubbles over Paris.
