Fall 2012 Fashion Trends - Burgundy

One of the hottest fashion trends for Fall 2012 is anything burgundy. The stores are full of items to choose from. However, burgundy can be a not-so-flattering color to wear for people with warm skin tones. Not to worry...just add burgundy in small doses like a belt, purse, or shoes. If you do have warm undertones and you absolutely insist on wearing it, keep it on the bottom half of your body, like a skirt, jeans, or pants. Not sure whether you have a warm skin tone or not?  Place a gold and a silver bracelet across your arm. If you look much better (warmer/brighter) in the gold bracelet, then you probably have a warm skin tone.

Another fashion trend for Fall 2012 is anything ornate:  brocade, velvet, guilded, embellished, etc.  It's a baroque revival.  The key word is opulent!  Here are a few examples.

Fall 2012 Fashion - dSquared2 Fall line is awesome!

Lately I have been perusing the Fall 2012 fashions.  Some of the top trends are baroque, oriental, plaids, peplums, and the school girl look (my favorite).  Unfortunately, I am greatly disappointed in clothes for the Fall.  Almost everything is highly structured, formless, and just plain UGLY!  But, I absolutely love almost everything in the dSquared2 Fall line.  Take a look!
