Love the Anna Sui dress, the pattern is great! Maxi dresses are amazing, except it's so hard for me to find the right style being so short!

I'm petite as well and so I can relate. The key is finding a dress that does not have a large circumference at the hemline. Too much material overwhelms a small frame. And make sure it's fitted through the bodice or belted. Most jersey knit versions hang nicely.
