Three ties from my online vintage shop were in the recent National Geographic Movie "Killing Kennedy." Two appeared on Rob Lowe as JFK and one was on an FBI agent as he interrogated Lee Harvey Oswald (Will Rothhaar).  Amy Harrell, Costume Designer, did a fantastic job with the wardrobe for the movie.

National Geographic TV Movie "Killing Kennedy" - JFK's Wardrobe

 

The above photo is from the upcoming National Geographic TV movie "Killing Kennedy" which airs in November.  The fabulous tie on Rob Lowe as John F. Kennedy is from my online vintage clothing boutique, Hip Fashion Stylist Vintage.  I'm anxious to seeing if any of the other three ties they purchased made the cut.  (That's Ginnifer Goodwin as Jackie.)

 



As Seen on CBS TV Series Vegas - More Hip Fashion Stylist Vintage Wardrobe Items

I spotted a few more Hip Fashion Stylist Vintage wardrobe items on the CBS TV series "Vegas" in last week's episode, Past Lives.  There was a lovely pair of white gloves with lace and seed pearls that was worn by a bride-to-be whose groom was arrested.  Then there was a camel colored handbag carried by a meek casino housekeeping employee who turns out to be more dangerous than she looks.  Let's hope the show is renewed for next season (and that the costume designer will continue to shop at Hip Fashion Stylist Vintage!)

As Seen on CBS TV Series Vegas - Wardrobe From Hip Fashion Stylist Vintage

It's always exciting to see items from your boutique used on a tv show, especially when they are worn by a main character.  The costume designer for the CBS series "Vegas" has purchased a number of vintage items from my shop.  This past week, one of my 60's ties was worn by Michael Chiklis' character (Vincent Savino) in the opening scene of the episode "Little Fish."  You can view it at:   http://www.cbs.com/shows/vegas/video/

I fell in love with this fabulous tie when I found it and just couldn't wait to get it listed in the shop. I thought to myself, "This would be perfect for Vincent Savino!" What are the chances he would actually end up wearing it?
