Great 1940's Fashions at Hip Fashion Stylist Vintage on Etsy
Today I listed a couple of great 1940's fashions in my vintage boutique on etsy at http://www.etsy.com/shop/hipfashionstylist. I especially love this awesome three piece suit with a matching fur trimmed shawl/cape. It's in a beautiful golden yellow lightweight wool. And it's almost like new! The olive green shirtwaist dress with the chevron stripes has a World War II look. Check them out!

Clifford Coffin (1913-1972) was another of the great fashion photographers of the 1940's and 1950's. His work with such magazines as Vogue and Glamour has left quite a legacy for us to enjoy today. Take a look!

1940's Style Inspiration
While working on a recent 1940's inspired photo shoot, I ran acroos this photo of film actress Hedy Lamarr and it made me think of my own mom and her beautiful sense of style. So I decided to post a few old family photos for you to enjoy. Check out the great clothes!
